In the last articles we talked about the difficulty of breaking bad habits and to finally decide to change our life.
We said that our mind is used to procrastinate, to put things off until tomorrow and that, as we we can't see any immediate results we easily lose motivation.
So our mind will postpone that change, that goal, thinking tomorrow will be easier.

Our life distracts us, makes us put thing off until tomorrow, giving us the illusion we'll always have tomorrow to achieve our dreams and to change our bad habits.
But todays is tomorrow's yesterday.

Some days ago we wrote an article about breaking bad habits and create new good ones to change our life for the better and achieving our goals. We said that it's not easy - at all - to break a bad habit because 99% of cases you need to wait to see results, and if they don't come fast, it's easy to feel like giving up and to break those new good ones we were starting to create.
Another thing that prevents us from changing our life and achieving our goals is DISORGANIZATION .
We have a very busy life, many things to do, and it seems to us we don't have enough time for what's important, for what we want.
For example, some of you will tell us: "I don't work-out, though I'd want to, because I don't have time to do it ".
Nothing more wrong.
It's summer, time to enjoy the beaches, to travel and discover new adventures, and relax.
We personally love summer break, it is the best time of year to spend days and nights with friends, organize a holiday, and to enjoy barbecues, picnics and pool parties.
In conclusion, definitely time to take a break from stress and to have more time to yourself, and ..
maybe time to make some new year's resolutions to try to finally
change your life and achieve your goals.
In fact what better time than the beginning of Autumn to decide to change your life and make your dreams and goals come true?
Every time we make our new year's resolutions, we say we're gonna change our life forever and we really believe we can achieve everything we want.
But.. 90% of the cases we fail. Our efforts and sacrifices end in failure. Every year we promise we are going to change, we say that we are going to improve, and get better organized. Every year we end up exactly the same.
Hi everyone! These are some photos from last summer (2016 ). We spent a couple of weeks in Capodimonte, on the shore of Lake Bolsena, here in Italy, with our parents and our boyfriends ( Brandon and Manuel ).
It was a wonderful summer, we had so much fun together, and the panorama was breath-taking!
We love taking pictures like these, cause it's always amazing to look back at them and remember all the magic moments we've enjoyed together! We don't know exactly where we are going to spend our holidays this year, we have something planned but we are not entirely sure, yet..

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a new challenge? This is the third challenge we make on our blog and we couldn't be more excited!
If you are following us on our journey you surely have read about the first two challenges and you'll know that they were about fitness ( the 30 days Stretching Challenge ), and about health (check the Water Challenge to read how to stay hydrated during the day).
Today we have decided to try out a new challenge and this time it will be about beauty !
Last week we have written an article about Castor Oil and about all its skin and hair benefits (check the article to read about that). As we have said, one of these benefits is promoting hair grow and not only that! In fact, it's used also for natural eyelashes and eyebrows growth.
And that's what this challenge is about: getting thicker and healthier eyebrows and fuller and longer eyelashes, using castor oil in the next 30 days!

Hi everyone! A month ago we've started the 30 days Stretching challenge to increase our flexibility.
We have tried different kinds of exercises, trying to figure out which work better for us and we are happy to say that we will show you our personal stretching routine very soon!

In fact your breathing does have a huge impact on the efficacy of your flexibility routine.
There are many breathing mistakes people do while they stretch like holding their breath, breathing quickly or too deeply, inhale and exhale at the incorrect time that can really affect your exercise and even cause significant problems..

Every day we see so many people, online or in real life, that always seem to have more and better than us. Last Tuesday we've started our 30 days stretching challenge, and we are seriously feeling so good. It's amazing how good it makes you feel when you start working on yourself! We're so happy!

Drinking enough water every day is very important. We all know that the benefits of water are many (here is an interesting article we recommend you to read about it) and that is fundamental for our body to stay hydrated.
But sometimes we have so many other things to think about and to do, that we remember to drink only when we are particularly thirsty. So starting a "WATER CHALLENGE" is what we need to start finally paying attention to the amount of liquids we consume daily, especially now that the weather is warming up. Let's start this together!

Today we want to introduce you to a new section of the blog, a subsection of the "Twin life" category: "CHALLENGE", where we're going to write about the many challenges we want to try and give you the details about them all.
Today it's day one of a "30 days" challenge we really can't wait to try. We've always given priority to our workouts, mostly avoided any form of stretching. But we've finally decided it's time for a change! We really want to start paying attention to our flexibility, and in the next 30 days we're going to test ourselves and see how much we can develop and increase our range of motion.
We can't tell you now which exercises will be part of our stretch routine, because there's not a specific program we follow. But we'll try different kinds of exercises and see which work better for us, then you'll have all the details in a new article next month.

He could never imagine that one day people all around the world would spend hours of their time, phone in hand, scrolling through their Instagram feed: one amazing photo after another; perfect bodies; perfect faces; perfect houses; amazing memories of someone else's life. This is what Instagram and the other socials daily offer us. With an extra opportunity to feel incredibly, amazingly, ridiculously unhappy.

Those who know us well know we aren't anti social medias. We use them and enjoy posting photos on our personal accounts. We also like scrolling through the feed and seeing all those inspiring photos in the profiles of people we really admire: muas, yogis, actresses and singers, gym lovers, even models. But inspirational photos are really inspiring only when they come with inspiring messages.

Nowadays, we live in a society where social medias daily bombard us with pictures of perfect lives, perfect looks, perfect body shapes and faces (edited with photoshop most of the time), that can leave us feeling empty, jealous, and even depressed.

Hello everyone! In this post we want to explain what "Fitness" means to us, and why starting training regularly and making healthy lifestyle changes it's been such a huge change for us, definitely for the better.
We've always been skinny, we've always practiced sports since we were little kids, but growing up we kinda lost the motivation. We started going to the gym but without a good workout plan. The truth is we didn't expect to see results, at all. We didn't need a big change on our body, we were skinny and for this reason we never put much effort in it.
But growing up we started feeling a little uncomfortable about our body. It's not easy to live in a society that daily reminds you that your flaws are something you have to feel ashamed of, and that seems to know exactly what your body should look like.
But one day we decided we needed to do something. We needed to stop complaining about our body, because we didn't deserve to feel that way. We quitted smoking and started looking for a good workout program online.
And everything changed.

Ever since we were little, singing was what we loved the most. At first we used to sing in the shower, or in our bedroom together, but when we were 15 we started taking lessons. We've been studying for 6 years now, and we're going to attend a Music Academy on September. We surely have much more to learn, and we can't wait!
We grew up listening to and enjoying all different music genres: pop and R&B, soul music, hip-hop and reggae, jazz and blues singers, but we also enjoy country songs, African music and French artists.
We are "crazy in love" with Beyoncé ( is she even human? ), Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Tina Turner, Nina Simone, and many other contemporary artists, such as Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and Adele.

Let's start with a short introduction. We are Vanilla & Julia, twin sisters from Italy (Rome). Our biggest passion in life is music and singing and we're studying hard to make a job of it.
