Nowadays, we live in a society where social medias daily bombard us with pictures of perfect lives, perfect looks, perfect body shapes and faces (edited with photoshop most of the time), that can leave us feeling empty, jealous, and even depressed.

Recent studies have shown how Instagram, for instance, can be really damaging for our self-confidence, and that can make us feel sick of our own life. But if used properly, socials can really help us to achieve something beautiful. They allow us to find and connect with everyone, and most important thing, to express ourselves, our feelings and thoughts, our personality, in many different, creative ways.

Every person is characterized by a natural need for self-expression. When we find a way to express our individuality, we feel inspired and we don't feel jealous of others. How we choose to express ourselves is very personal: we can do that through art, music, dancing, painting, writing poems or even doing our job.

 In recent years, makeup and fashion have become a very popular way for many people to express their creativity, too. They aren't just a way (as many affirm) to look hot, or attractive, but they can also be used to create looks that are expressive and creative as well. 

In this section of the blog, that we called "Expression", we'll show you inspiring looks from our favorite MUAS on Instagram and Youtube, new clothes and trends that we like, and some outfit ideas..

We really enjoy to play with makeup and clothes; it's some of the many ways we like to express our personality, but we won't deny we have mixed feelings about it.

Makeup and fashion are fun, they allow us to feel confident and find always new creative ways to express ourselves, but we surely can't help but think about the negative impact they might be having on people in recent times. The society's standards of beauty today are way too unrealistic and everyday we all asked to achieve body shapes and features comparable to perfection. 

This is why we really feel we need to share this message with you all..

Please, don't use makeup or fashion to look like someone else or to cover up your beautiful uniqueness. We really can help this world grow in the right direction! Use it to express your creativity, to feel confident and beautiful, but never forget to show love to your pretty, bare face.

This world needs your uniqueness.

Choose to express yourself, don't repress yourself! :)
