It's summer time! July started and we couldn't feel more excited. This is officially our favorite time of the year. We wait for this moment all year long and we can't believe it's finally here (who doesn't?!). There are so many limitless things to do on summer! Summer means relax, sun, beaches, picnics, nights out and barbecues with friends, camping, swimming, biking; it means tan, shorts and open-toed shoes..
But, above all, summer means that it's time for the long-awaited vacations.
These months are the perfect time to take the week off from work and go somewhere to relax, or to plan even just a weekend away and enjoy the summer weather by a river, or a lake.. it's seriously the best way to recharge!
We personally love making plans for holidays and we love the feeling in the air right before leaving for a trip. Well, let's say we enjoy every moment of it, but sometimes the journey from Rome to our trip destination (sitting on a flight, but especially when we take a train or a car ride), it can -really- bore us to death.
When we were children, our family and us used to take long car trips along the coast of Italy on summer, and we clearly remember it could be kind of a drag, sometimes, sitting in the car for hours with nothing to do!
That's why we had to think of an idea to enjoy our trips more! And we've realized that there is nothing better than listening to music on a long trip! You can use Spotify to listen to your favorite music, but we prefer to create our own custom music CDs to play in the car during the trip.. And this is why: all you need is a car audio system installed in your car, no internet, no service, no chance that your phone will die halfway to your destination.. and burning CDs it's so easy to do.
All you need is a computer and blank CDs.
HOW TO CREATE A PLAYLIST AND BURN A CD
- First step: you have to download your favorite songs on your computer. The easiest way to do that is to download YouTube videos as MP3 files using Youtube mp3 or OnlineVideoConverter. Open the video of the song you want to download on Youtube, then copy and paste the video link on one of these two sites. Then click the "Start" button to initiate the conversion.
- Once you have downloaded all the songs you want to burn on your CDs, use iTunes to create your Playlists: maybe you want to create a playlist that contains a particular artist, or genre, or maybe you just want to create a CD with all your favorite summer songs.
- Last step: burn your playlists onto blank CDs! This is the easiest part!
Just select the playlist (on iTunes) containing the songs you want to copy to the CD, insert the blank CD into your computer, and then burn it.
